At the March, 2009 SVQG meeting, approximately 18 people stayed after the regular morning meeting to donate their time and talents to making quilts for soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. These soldiers will be spending rehabilitation time at the Woodrow Wilson Rehab Center in Fishersville, Va.
The Guild's goal is to provide a patriotic-themed twin sized quilt for each and every one of the young men and women entering the facility.
Thanks to everyone for spending their Saturday afternoon working on this worthy project!
